The Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition isn't all that S.P.E.C.I.A.L.

We bought the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition, opened it up and, to be perfectly honest, were underwhelmed and disappointed by the actual Pip-Boy replica.

I thought as much. The app works very well for me without having to put it into a plastic Pip-Boy replica, plus if I want to put it on my arm I can just duct tape my phone to me wrist.

It's a bit disappointing to hear this. When I first saw the Pip-boy edition announced, I assumed that the display was integrated. It makes for a cool cosplay prop though.

Why am I not surprised? I said it looks like a cheap piece of plastic junk when the first photos surfaced. I'm not surprised that Bethesda followed up by supplying a cheap piece of garbage that for many people broke while they were still busy taking it out of the box. I would demand a refund, tbh.

Such a shame. The Alduin Statue from Skyrim was actually pretty good quality.
