well I shopped it, but had trouble connecting to the servers. only tried it once though, was distracted by other games

I did run 2 local dedicated servers for it, but there was virtually no interest after the free Steam weekend a while back. I told myself I'll buy it once they've added bot support. But overall, the community is quite small for the game. If you guys want I can put up a server, but don't expect it to fill up.

perhaps do a headcount, get everybody together that has the game and organise a game day then take it from there if there's any further interest

I have no idea if the game is any good, but from the trailer, the graphics looks kinda good and the game is 6Gb in size. Thought I'd mention the special.

That game sucks- I absolutely hate everything about it.......... mostly because it doesn't work on XP, so I can't flipping throw some money at it.
You were left behind in the dark ages and I really recommend upgrading at some point. Maybe then you will really enjoy Sleeping Dogs.

Brilliant game but I'm biased being from Hong Kong
I still want to go to Hong Kong but the ambience in the game is very similar to Bangkok/Kuala Lumpur. The stalls, food carts and doorbells are all very similar.
How does the real HK compare to HK in the game?

The names of the areas are all correct and their certain sections of the game you will recognise as parts of HK but it's not an accurate representation. It's still close enough looking though for a game.
