The MyGaming eRepublik Thread

Our madam president, Ines Schumacher, has written her article with the final list of candidates to vote for.

eSA president official congressional release

It's one day before the elections, folks. And I am proud to report that we have gathered a lot of support to keep eSA ruled by the eSouth African people.

I've just gotten back from a weekend away and I'd like to thank vice president Steven Bosch and intelligence minister Luc Praetor for holding down the fort!

I just finished answering 70 unread messages so just bear with me if I seem a little dazed! :)

Here is the plan for tomorrow. Please vote this article up and spread the word!

This is the OFFICIAL and FINAL candidate list to avert the PTO on eSA:

For United South Africa:
ERDWURM
Black8Shadow
Jan Oliver
Steven Bosch
Zagarius
Mark Morcom
Ali Mentary

For South African Gold Party:
Alby
Enoch Root
Lucien Morjuet

We have a website which the eSA cabinet will update as often as possible throughout the day. So please check this link BEFORE you vote. By the way, those "Needs 10 votes" is just a random number we have in there and will be updated tomorrow once we see what the other candidates have. Try vote late in the day but if you can't help voting early, just vote for the one candidate with the least votes.

Here is the website: http://tklabs.tv/erepublik/elections/20090825-congressionals/

Spread this link in shouts and among the groups you have gathered to help eSA and vote smart tomorrow!

Once the congress members are elected they will start proposing and voting the pre-discussed economic plan we all discussed on the forums. I will divide the names and proposals up later this evening and send them a message about it and also start a new topic in forums.

Stay strong eSouth Africa! Let's make sure that congress seats only go to true eSouth Africans that will vote in our economic plan!

Vote Proudly eSouth African!

~ eSA president

That's actually a good idea you have there. I don't expect any lack of internet for some weeks at least. It's just when I'm not home for the weekend.

so if you are of level 6 and above, you are eligible to vote.

I have asked Luc Praetor to help organise moving tickets for all people who aren't in eSouth Africa and don't have their eSA citizenship.

If you have to vote first thing in the morning, vote for one of the above candidates with the least votes.
If you can vote later in the day, HOLD YOUR VOTE, as we will need to vote for those candidates lacking votes to ensure they get into cabinet.

The website http://tklabs.tv/erepublik/elections/20090825-congressionals/ will be our election website used for tomorrow and it will be updated periodically stating which candidates need more votes.

With the help of all MyGaming eRepublik citizens, we will keep our country alive and running and won't let it fall into enemy hands!

Still no sign of those moving tickets and time is running out

Also, early in the morning eRep time or SA time?

they will come MH, you can still move tomorrow, just don't vote in your current region!

I guarantee you that you will receive moving tickets in time :)

I say don't vote early morning erep time if you can vote later in the day. It's imperative that you check the election website, http://tklabs.tv/erepublik/elections/20090825-congressionals/ throughout the day as this will tell you who to vote for.

I'm all for moving back to eSA, but hate to be the purveyor of bad news. But isn't this what eIndo wants? Let everyone move back to eSA and then take it back again?
Shooting fish in a barrel...

So if I wanted to move to S.A. how would I go about doing that? Am I going to need one of these "tickets" to do the move?

...... ok cool, just getting a bit nervous and excited :D I'll hold off as long as is necessary tomorrow then and make use of the election website ;)

ye Isengard, you'll need what's called a MT (moving ticket).

I have begged some of our ministers to make a plan and sort some out for all citizens here. Luc Praetor is one of them (he just registered here) so he'll likely keep you all updated.

When you receive a moving ticket, all you have to do is go to your citizen page, click 'change' under location and select South Africa, Limpopo from the list.

Once this is done, you'll be able to vote as described in the information here.

Can you just clarify the job thing for us zamrg? If we move, we don't lose our jobs right?

sure, you will need to resign from your current job to be able to move.

If you took your job within the last 3 days, you will not be able to resign and you will have to ask your boss to fire you. The majority of employers are very understanding and will let you go immediately if you ask nicely. It takes them a matter of minutes to find a new employee so don't feel bad :)

Woah woah... Hang on. Will I lose my job if I move? How will this affect my Work for 30 days achievement?

no, you don't lose the chance to get your medal.

I would recommend working tomorrow morning before moving or you can do so later in the day when you move back out of eSouth Africa. There will be no jobs in eSouth Africa as we don't have any companies yet, therefore you will have to move back to your current location after voting later in the day. This is why you should hopefully receive 2 moving tickets for tomorrow, one to move to eSA to vote and another to move back to your current location.

...... it doesn't matter what company you work for, as long as it is 30 days in a row ;)

.... crapola, thought so ........ :o

Okay then it's fine, I will make the move tomorrow. Do note that I only come online after around 7pm, so I hope it will be enough time for me to quit my job, move to SA and vote.
