The MyGaming eRepublik Thread

Valor, a lot of this is documented on the eSouth Africa forums, chat room and newspapers. At the moment, there's nothing much we can do until congress is voted into power and taxes and minimum wage is changed.

Thnks for the update, I will have a look a those.

Update for anyone living in the USA - New Jersey is half way to being conquered by Russia, if this region falls then that will be the end of eUSA as they would only have one more region left, which will most likely be taken soon.

Wow..... is it a definite thing or is it possible for the US to fight back?

It's a tough battle for both sides but this one will come down to tanking, which is where very high strength soldiers fight multiple times using wellness packs and Q5 weapons and do a huge amount of damage. As an example, the 2 battle heroes at this point have done 7k+ damage and 10k+ damage. If the US loses NJ, it will be a big loss as many companies and citizens will be stuck behind enemy lines which will give Russia a nice amount of US taxes. It isn't the be-all-end-all as the US will still have her last fortress state, Florida and a few smaller northern regions. It will also prove that their fortress states aren't invincible and will be a big scare as Florida will be next on the chopping block

As it currently stands, it's 96k+ in the rural area so Russia and her allies have to do 438 795k damage to get the battle underground. They can very likely do this with a huge amount of gold spent on tanking and with the strength of her allies. They also timed the battle to end at 04:00 in the morning in the US so the US is at a huge disadvantage. The good thing is that many of the US' allies will fight in NJ as it a very important region for the US to hold on to. The economy is already in the pits and this will have a drastic affect on the USD as well as market prices.

To get an idea of how much it is costing Russia to attack a region like NJ, check out the following spreadsheet -> http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0Ag6-zmcA6PDndGRFb3RiSncxZzJyRHRQZmVaLWt6d2c&hl=en . NJ alone costs 1066 gold to attack so failure isn't an option, or it will at least be a huge hit for em. It's going to cost them 1554.75 to attack Florida, also a substantial amount of gold. The cost to conquer every US state is 5108.25
gold, therefore NJ and Florida are 20.87% and 30.44% respectively of the total cost of this war against the US.

I'm level 3 now ... sorta muddling around trying to figure out what to do :/

I'm just gonna hang around in WC for now, try and save up some money.

Work, train, work, train.

Is there anything else I should be doing? Or can do?

hang tight, there isn't much more to do other than training and working until you reach level 5, after which you can then fight and heal. After you hit level 5, levelling up happens a lot faster as you'll be fighting every day, and you get 2 experience points for each fight; which works out to 1 (eating) + 1 (training) + 5*2(5 fights) = 12 points a day.

No worries ... I'll keep at it then.

Oh ... just made level 4. Cool.

Only thing is ... this constant refreshing *gnashing of teeth*

NJ has 1 hour 35 to go and Russia has conquered its way through to the city. They need another 149 838 damage to go underground but I'm guessing the battle will almost certainly go into overtime, which may last a couple hours to a day. This is likely to be the biggest and most epic battle in the game up to date and I'm sure a couple records will be broken.

*edit*

It turns out that the US didn't tank which made it an easy finish for Russia - NJ is now lost.

What a sad day it is, eUSA is pretty much down and out for now.

I'm actually not that surprised that the eUSA fell .......... they have the attention span of a gnat as a nation and just not enough players to take it seriously enough.

Wonder how long it will be until they are free of occupation eh.

I'm not to clued up on their political decisions, but apparently the Americans used Real life strategies and forgot that it was a simulation of RL and so game mechanics are a whole lot different.

US politics is a game itself, a joke of a game, and it's caused a lot of in-fighting in the past.

To give them some credit, they've also had it rough during the war due to game mechanics and changes made by the admins

- the admins added new US region borders at a crucial time in the war which opened up new fronts for the enemy to attack on
- a server crash lead the admins to keep a battle open after cut-off
- a bug cropped up which prevented the US president from retreating which would have allowed the US to go on the offensive.

The game doesn't allow for a country who's being attacked to attack another country; and since the US has been constantly attacked on at least 3 fronts, they've never been allowed to go on the offensive. This opportunity did arise at 2 points during the war but they got screwed over both times due to game bugs.

The USD just crashed badly and is sitting at 1 GOLD = 95 USD up from yesterday's 1 GOLD = 65 USD. If you have USD, you should sell immediately unless you want to hold on to it and wait for the US economy and USD to bounce back in the next weeks, months, etc.
