The New New New SPAM Thread

I just fixed up a Celeron MMX pc for a client...how did we manage way back then with this tech? :( He's giving this to his daughter. Last of the big spenders hey.

A Dying Breed
You explained to him that the MMX is best suited for Mail or Storage Devices at this stage right?

I honestly don't know why some people just can't let go, really, the normal thing to hear from these idiots is: but it works, so why change it.
The counterargument is that it would work EVEN BETTER if actually updated to later versions of OS

And this guy does have money. But I think it all goes for KFC.

i pulled my father into Win 7 kicking and screaming

my mother is next, they always says its working why change it?

i always tell them in less then a few years or months, support for your current software will be lost and you will be forced to upgrade anyway

if it were up to them, they'd be on Win 98 :|

Windows 95 was the best operating system, like, ever. Wish they start selling it again. 3D capablities were beyond this world. Oh how I miss those days.

Never new Celeron came out with MMX?

MMX was around before Celeron if I'm not mistaken?

Yup. I remember the P1 166MHz coming out with MMX. Don't recall any Celeron having it - but too lazy to Google it :p

The Celeron MMX 433 Mhz CPU was a legend at one stage, could run dripping wet with nothing more than exhaled cigarette smoke cooling it
