The Official 2015 Steam Summer Sale thread

So far I've remained unscathed, but when the ubisoft stuff lands then I will probably be in trouble.

I couldn't resist and got myself Victor Vran. Really enjoying it so far. Not bad at all for an ARPG running on the Tropico 5 engine.

My first purchase is Egypt Settlement Gold @ $7.99 - it looks like an interesting sim. Bought it using the app on my iPad. Couldn't see if I had any cards.

Anyone else as surprised as I am that Valve finally made a game? :p
Sure, it's no Half Life 3, but at least they're finally doing something. :)

As for the sale, I'm pretty much just on the lookout for co-op games that I can play with my wife. Other than that, Witcher 3 is keeping me pretty busy so I have no desire to get anything else. If anyone has any ideas of what I should look out for, let me know. So far we have almost finished Saints Row, we have Borderlands and bought Dead Island on Gamersgate's summer sale. Got Dead Rising 2 as well, but haven't been able to get it working on her PC and Capcom support is pretty useless.

So, I'm tempted to buy the following:
- Wolfenstein: The New Order
- Oddworld: New 'n Tasty
- Metro 2033 Redux
- Ori and the Blind Forest

2x platformers and 2x FPS's. :D Unfortunately the platformers aren't discounted enough yet...

Only caved and got Homeworld Remastered so far. Gonna play it a bit this afternoon

I'm not sure what floats your boat, but if you like FPS's, then get it, I loved it. So much so that I pre ordered The Old Blood. Its just good old fashioned FPS game play. I actually want to give it another bash soon.

Have you played quake 4? I was wondering how it compared to that game play wise. Quake 4 was one of my all time favorites, which is why I'm asking.

Well, ave just answered it. I'm very picky with my FPS's these days and love something with a strong narrative element. The Bioshock series has been some of my favourite games of recent years, while Battlefield, CoD and similar have been my least. Quake 4 was indeed excellent and I LOVED it.

Great- I was hoping to hear that. I'm like you then, I really enjoy that old school feel- lots of weapons, badass bosses. I think I've finished Quake 4 3x already.
