What card did you get?
Also, I'm running everything at Max and don't get more than 30fps with the occasional drop to 18fps, no matter what FPS the batmobile is practically unplayable due to the 30fps lock. Makes me feel dizzy.
i got the gigabyte gtx 970 4gb. you must go into the game folder and change the 30fps lock to 60. everything is max apart from the nvidia gameworks stuff that is all off

1. Go to Installation folder of the game.

2. Navigate to Batman Arkham Knight\BmGame\ Config\BmSystemSettings.ini

3. Locate ”MaxFPS=30″ and change it to whatever you want.

PC Progress Update and Patch out on Steam now:
Rocksteady is leading our team of developers and partners as we work on the PC performance issues that players have been encountering. The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place.

Below is the list of the key areas where we are dedicating our resources to improve the experience for our loyal fans:
Support for frame rates above 30FPS in the graphics settings menu
Fix for low resolution texture bug
Improve overall performance and framerate hitches
Add more options to the graphics settings menu
Improvements to hard drive streaming and hitches
Address full screen rendering bug on gaming laptops
Improvements to system memory and VRAM usage
NVIDIA SLI bug fixes
Enabling AMD Crossfire
NVIDIA and AMD updated drivers
While we work on improving performance, we will also continue to make interim patches available to address issues for those still playing the game on PC. The first patch is being released now and the updates include:
Fixed a crash that was happening for some users when exiting the game
Fixed a bug which disabled rain effects and ambient occlusion. We are actively looking into fixing other bugs to improve this further
Corrected an issue that was causing Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client
Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when turning off Motion Blur in BmSystemSettings.ini. A future patch will enable this in the graphics settings menu
We would like to thank our fans for their patience and invaluable feedback. We will continue to monitor and listen for any additional issues.
Of course, the first comment response doesn't provide much faith:
This patch still not showing any improvements, bad performance, dropping FPS on some places, environments, and batmobile, almost can't see any good changes. NVidia GameWorks ON just make it worst.
For what it's worth, it's just under 68MB in size.

Btw. Anyone knows if the local SA retailers are respecting Warner Bros directive concerning refunds?
who still buys retail? [emoji14]

but on a serious note, i have no idea.. isnt the code u used to activate the game one use only?

Shouldn't make any difference as Warner Bros(the publisher) has said refunds are available for the steam version or whereever you purchased it. I have the steam version, was just curios if our local retailers are doing the right thing and honoring it or not.

This is apparently the mail that was send to gamestop(physical us store)

All physical copies need to be taken down from the shelves
Anyone who purchased a PC copy from that store, and has the receipt, is elligible for a full refund (not store credit, game change, full refund in cash)
All physical copies that the store has needs to be shipped back to the publisher.
Anyone who doesn't refund the game accepts the purchase and is elligible for a free Season Pass or a free Warner Bros. game from a list

So sometime over the weekend I decided to start installing the game, just to see what it looks like. I bought it retail due to price and because I didn't want to download 40Gb.

However, installing from the 5 DVDs they provided me with, only installed about 10Gb of the game. Now Steam wants to download the other 25-30Gb. Wtf? This happen to anyone else?

I see there has been an update which I quickly scanned over the fix notes. Seems they've fixed a bunch including missing textures and frame rate has been unlocked?

Can someone here confirm?

I can confirm that you quickly scanned over the fix notes. :p

They only fixed some minor things for now. The stuff you mention is what they plan to fix in future.

Oh, sorry. Just saw the announcement on Steam this morning as I was shutting down my computer.

With Batman I always wait for the game of the year edition to be on a super sale(Steam). That way I get most of the DLC and for less than the original game. Plus I need time to put all my heist skills that I learned in GTA V to use so that I can buy a PC that will actually run Arkham Knight.

Has anyone here finished the game yet?

Spoiler: show
Finished it on Sunday and only had to do a few more side missions in order to get the "half" ending. Don't really know how i feel about the ending though. Also don't think i'll ever manage to 100% the game in order to get the full ending.

I must admit I'm starting to enjoy the game. Almost starting to regret asking for a refund, but it's kind of a principle thing. I guess I'll keep playing it until they remove it from my library. :o

I really enjoy how they worked the car into the riddler challanges. There is a lot to do in this game and quite a lot of it is quite challanging.
