Oh man, I wish the open beta would start sooner. Also hoping they allow *preloading* 2 or 3 days early.

I see I also got my early access code for the Open Beta. Will see if I can get my wife to start the download already. From the email it seems the open beta is available right now?

Just hopped into the game to check - don't have time to play right now - but it looks like there are no SA servers (or Africa servers at all) - maybe MyGaming ( [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION] ) could check with the providers such as DoGaming and Mweb if they have plans to get servers up?

Yeah, don't see any either. Lowest ping servers for me is 227ms, which is in Italy.

Going to have a bash at it now to see how it goes.
 
I played a quick match of Conquest this afternoon and allowed it to match-make into a game. In-game ping showed 86 so I'm not sure if that is an accurate reflection or if it found a closer by server.
 
I gave it a go, but unless we get local servers I'm not going to bother. Dying around corners with 200 ping is real... :cry:

If you look more closely at the ping there is actually three numbers. The one is just hidden by the bars while ingame. The best ping I got was around 190ms to the Netherlands.

Well well....well, game's not too shabby.... had a nice stable ping for once, ~220, but was totally playable, kinda like Battlefront.

Just obviously new to the game, have to learn about the weapons and unlocks.
