They never said 1 November as far as I know. At least the post that I saw on the forums said something along the lines of "...Rented Servers for Battlefield 1 in November". Lots of people misread that as 1 November. [emoji14]

Nov 1 or Nov 30th, it'll be the same result.

lol, yeah, with min ping said to 100 and max ping allowed to set to 300. :D

Apparently some of the people have been getting refunds. Read a few replies on their forum. I don't know about requirements etc.

NEW BATTLEFIELD 1 UPDATES COMING THIS MONTH

During the month of November, we will release a major update for Battlefield 1, filled with various tweaks and improvements. Among other things, we will be adding the Rent-a-Server Program, a new Custom Game and tweaks to matchmaking and server balancing.

Wonder if this ''Rent-a-Server'' program means we might finally get local servers,or do you guys think it might be routed through dice and is just a custom server for you and friends.
 
Had a run in with a cavalry unit last night, manage to survive by ducking and diving every time he came around. Thanks to the Mars i won that fight and it felt so awesome! Maybe he was just bad or i'm just to good :p

Really enjoying the game so far (event with high-ish ping)

We can only hope.

Maybe I'll get EA access in the mean time and when BF1 eventually makes it to the Vault maybe they would have server.
Seen the EA South Africa Twitter is 90% server complaints. :D
Seriously though Africa needs it own servers for everything, this is getting annoying now.

With virtualisation and all nowadays how hard can it be.
 
CNA refunded me on my already used BF1 yesterday, so I bought COD as it can be played locally, if EA continue with no servers they can kiss my money goodbye
 
Although I am over battlefield, seriously doubt if I'll get it if the 8th wonder of the world happens and we get servers here, but the noise has reached good old JackFrags.

Some will say yes and obviously some will say no.

End of the day it's up to you, if you think value can drawn from that price.
 
True story. I don't find value in any of the silly prices we pay for day to day stuff in SA.

Well no Official statement regarding the availability of local servers so I would say no besides you can get it cheaper from greenmangaming.

What? Of course we have servers! They have Africa as a filter option! Oh look, flying pigs!

All they did was give Jack and LevelCap a "we'll look into it." just to look like they are trying to do something. Besides the lack of SA servers, the servers in general, a bit of a joke, for example, you can rent a server, but you can't even password protect it. The last patch degrades the visuals. They can go fornicate themselves.
