The Official Battlefield 1 thread

I canceled my order with GreenManGaming a week or two before the launch when it became obvious that we won't have local servers.
 
Hi All,

I am very happy to announce that we will be deploying official DICE online game servers for the following regions in early 2017:

South Africa
Middle East
Hong Kong

These are but the first steps in our ongoing effort to keep supporting Battlefield 1 and our community.

Did any of you get the retail version? Was there a large part of the install on the DVDs or just the installer? If just the installer, what the install size like?

I got the PC retail version and it's on 5 discs with a 2.5gb day 1 patch. Might be a bit more now with the updates since then.

Thanks for the info. Went ahead and bought the game from GMG, I still had some credit left from when I refunded it... :P
 
Anyone playing on PS4? I'm enjoying BF1 but miss having a squad. mattw-sa is my psn id
