Naruto Will Be Turned into... Musical Theatre


Singing ninja, what could go wrong? Well, everything, but who knows, it might be good.

You know, why not? Persona has already been turned into a play. So has BlazBlue. And Ace Attorney was made into several musicals

Dubbed Live Spectacle Naruto, the stage version features actors Kodai Matsuoka as Naruto, Ryuji Sato as Sasuke, and Yui Ito as Sakura.

Guys, does anyone know anything more with regards to Sidonia no Kishi (Knights of Sidonia) season 2? I know it was announced and that some event was held on the 25 November 2014 showing the first two episodes of season 2.

According to my knowledge, it's set to launch in April 2015.

Durarara.... Looking forward to that. Where does this NGE fit in..? Also after fate/stay night I'm not sure I want to watch the rest of the installments. Not on the mood for depressing anime.

The Final Neon genesis film is releasing in 2015, it's the fourth and final film in the series which is a complete retelling of the story. I would disregard the two films that came out prior to these as the initial one was to serve as a recap of the series and the latter The end of Evangelion was meant to give an alternate retelling of the final two episodes.

The two older films are still worth a watch but... Shinji becomes a little bitch, and destroys the planet and then attempts to kill Asuka but fails when he realises what he had done. It has a extremely surreal ending and killed of many of the main characters, it's no surprise it got so much backlash.


The films are so much better than the series was (I can't believe I am saying this). I can not stress enough how amazing the first 3 films are; You are (not) alone, You can (not) advance and you can (not) redo. They fill in so much more information and add many more questions and you don't see shinji having as many breakdowns as the series does. Still he has quite a few, and you can't help but think everything that has happened to him is the fault of the adults around him.

Fate UBW is a reboot of Stay/Night if you watched Zero then you will enjoy this as it takes place 10 years after the end of Zero. It is also vastly superior to the first series that came out, part 1 has very little action in it but it's a nice build up to the second part.

Dude then you should watch Yuki Yuna is a Hero and Celestial Method. :)

You're right about UBW getting nasty in next season. I'm skipping that.
 
I'm realizing that as much as I'm loving SAO, I'm loving Log Horizon even more so.

Also, I don't know what to watch. I'm thinking about getting into the Fate series, not sure though.

If you do...

Ignore Fate/Stay Night completely. It never existed, after Unlimited Blade Works was announced it became invalid - this it not to say it is a bad series it's good on it's own but became less valid after a series reboot.

Start with Fate/Zero which is the prequel to Fate/UBW (it takes place 10 years prior to UBW and sets up the characters nicely so that some may return in UBW) then Move to Fate/Unlimited Blade works, which is the remake of Stay Night.

I managed to get a whole lot of films and a few series out of my way including;

The Wings of Honneamise - Sucker for GAINAX, a bit slow but very good
From up on Poppy Hill - Classic coming of age film
The Wind Rises - Very solid Drama.
Beyond The Clouds The Promised Place - snooze fest, good visuals
Ponyo - Think Finding Nemo for anime
Wolf Children - Amazing
Colourful - Slightly different from most but works out so well in the end.
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind - Not as good as most critics make it out to be.
King of Swine - Korean and slightly disturbing
Only Yesterday - Ghibli at it's best.
Tokyo Ghoul - Death by censor, wait for BD's.
Persona 4 - Fan of the game then a good watch
Barakamon - Solid slice of life anime.
Fate/UBW - More speech and character development in part 1, part 2 will deliver the action.
Occult Academy - OK, I guess.
