Naruto Epilogue Novels Get TV Anime This Winter

The wraparound jacket band on Shō Hinata's Naruto Konoha Shinden Yukemuri Ninpō-chō novel volume is announcing on Thursday that a television anime adaptation of three Naruto Hiden/Shinden (Hidden Story/True Story) epilogue stories will air this coming winter.

Hopefully 'winter' means after the completion of the show, I can't stand the continuous breaks in the story anymore.

Additionally a new Gatz:O trailer was released.

Dude was made for that role, or at least looks like it.

Looks pretty good, I hope they show ALL the good parts.

Oh yes! Full CG yet. Should be better than the two live action movies (although I thought they were ok). I think I recognized one of the games from the manga that was beyond what the anime went up to (and lets try to forget the last game in the anime like it never happened. ;))

Bleach Manga to end on August 22nd

This year's combined 36th/37th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Tite Kubo will publish the final Bleach manga chapter in the magazine's next issue, which Shueisha will ship on August 22. The next issue will also have an "important announcement."

I am actually a little surprised by this, not that it's finally ending but that the final arc took this long to complete. Lets hope Pierrot and TV Tokyo bring back the anime, perhaps once Naruto has finished it's run. Sans the fillers of course.

So watching Mob Psycho 100. Awesome anime. Waiting for 1 punch man S2. Also watching pokemon from ep1 again. Any other anime recommendations ?

Depends on what you enjoy, what else have you seen so I can give you some recommendations. Only thing I can think of that is similar to Mob Psycho and OPM is Boku no Hero Academia, Tiger & Bunny as well as Samurai Flamenco. How ever they are 3 very different shows, that are centered on super hero archetypes.

Other general recomendations include:
Mardock Scramble
From the New World
Steins;Gate
Fate/Zero and Fate/UBW
Kids on the Slope
Outlaw Star
Psycho-Pass
Hyouka
Terror in Resonance
Eden of the East
Death Parade
Gun Grave
Nisekoi
Gosick

Have you seen Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood? It's a retelling of the story but it's true to the source material, which makes it vastly different from the original series.

Full Metal Alchemist:
Blue Exorcist and Arslan Senki Possibly Code Geass, but I would put it along with Death Note because of the psychological games played it in, it is still very good.

Death Note:
Monster might want to tackle this one a little later, while it's story is amazing it sometimes suffers from pacing problems. Future Diary is slightly more upbeat and twisted and there is also Ergo Proxy if you enjoy a dystopian theme.

FLCL:
GAINAX! Gunbuster, Diebuster and Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann are probably some of my most loved shows Over the top mecha action. Additionally there is No Game No Life which, Detroit Metal City and Kill La Kill. All somewhat different but share similarities in humor and action.

Elfen Lied & Claymore:
Hellsing Ultimate, it's a Bloody good time! Shiki as well but a little less profound. Black Lagoon, if you enjoyed Black Lagoon there is also Jormungand, it's not as action packed but still a good hard-sci series. Akama ga Kill and Garden of Sinners. Garden of Sinners is not actually a series but about 10 films that are in non-chronological order, which makes it hard to follow sometimes. Very good series, since it touches on almost everything psychological, magical and physiological. It can be watched chronologically as well.

Samurai Champloo:
I am inclined to say anything Watanabe so, Cowboy Bebop and Space Dandy! Others similar would be Darker Than BLACK and Katanagatari. Darker thab BLACK is really good but somehow they managed to create a second series which was not as good, but still worth a watch. Gangsta and Baccano! While both are centered around mobs are in different time periods. Gangsta is more modern and serious, Baccano! is 1930's with a bit of a comedic twist. If you enjoyed it you should give Durarara!! a try, same production company and writer.

Naruto, lets see...
Bleach, if you skip the fillers.
InuYasha, if you watch the final arc after completing it.
D-Gray-man, the third series has a vastly different art style and a few different voice actors. It is also currently airing, but season 1 and 2 are 103 episodes in total.
HunterXHunter, another slow starter but once the ball starts rolling it's simply and amazing experience.
Fairy Tale, not much to say here, fairly decent series.

This weeks episode was canon! Henceforth I am assuming everything following is episode canon too. The preview looks like it's canon, so it's definitely canon.

This current episode used manga chapters 684 and 685. That leaves around 14 chapters of manga to animate. So if it is staying at the 2 per an episode rate that means there is around 7-10 episodes left. It could be more depending on how they pace it and extend the ending.

I'd be surprised if that turns out to be the case,
Spoiler: show
I'm thinking the very last battle between you-know-who will likely be dragged out with some filler thrown in in there.
I watched last month's episodes last week so I'll wait a bit before watching this month's, letting them accumulate a bit.

Nice one, you have listed most of my Fav's in those categories

also Gatz:O looks damn awesome

Is it really worth it to Continue watching Shipuden? I stopped watching ep +- 60. Don't even remember. But started to feel like Bleach with all the fillers. Or was it just a rough patch?

Fillers killed it too, but if you skip them it's worth a watch in the end. You can have a look at http://www.animefillerlist.com/ to see which episodes you need to skip to stay on track with canon episodes.

But that has always felt like cheating to me. Hence why I never really bothered much with Bleach and One Piece !

One Piece fillers are not as predominant or as long as Naruto and Bleach. One Piece normally has at most 8 - 10 fillers episodes if they do a filler arc. I started to skip Bleach fillers after the bount arc because it was adding nothing at all to the story. The same with Naruto eventually.

Fillers may not be much of a problem in your case, it's not like you'll have to wait for weeks for a canon episode. In fact they can be good for binge watching somewhat, they help with the pacing :). I watched Shippuden and Bleach when they were both at their peak in popularity, so I could watch a few episodes of each daily. As it turns out the fillers only started to bother me when I caught up.

*Edit*

Also, you could just skip an episode that's too annoying. Another perk of binge watching.

Been busy trying to dig into my backlog of 600+ shows so here is what I have finished recently.

Chaika - The Coffin Princess: Avenging Battle
Second season and the conclusion to The Coffin Princess saga. It is a bit shorter at 10 episodes, and it was paced quite well considering it's length. Although with a very brief final 'Avenging Battle' in the last two episodes it falls a little short and turns into a somewhat predictable conclusion.

Ore Monogatari!!
A light hearted romantic comedy which is not like the rest. Gouda Takeo is a literal giant of a high schooler and Yamato Rinko, his polar opposite in physic, and personality. They come together through somewhat interesting circumstances but for Rinko and Gouda it’s love at first sight.

The initial episodes are a little clichéd but as the plot progresses it does not feel like ‘just another romantic comedy’ there are hardly any ups and downs in the relationship as you would normally find in such a show. It's partly because of how both characters are slightly slow on the up take with many things, which makes for interesting scenarios and developments between the two of them. The supporting cast helps flesh Gouda and Yamato out a lot, and most of the time they are always directly involved with the couple.

Interesting find in the ending sequence of Diamond is unbreakable, after a specific episode, a character is added to it. Along with a slight adjustment to the street. It's the little things that normally go unnoticed that shows the animation studio really loves the work they do.
