Poor thread has died and almost gone to heaven. Time for resurrection :D

Now that Shiki has moved on - I've compiled a quick preview of the 2011 releases - see if anything grips your fancy.

Shameless self-promotion - here's the linky

The second season of Kimi ni Todoke should be good. Also looking forward to Beelzebub (No Midori no Hibi elements here. Seiji is a nice misunderstood good guy compared to Oga.), if it's anything like the manga it'll be good.

Haha ... well ... I do make a few guesses in my summaries. As you said, Kimi no Todoke is one to look forward to, although I need to catch up and watch the first season; I'm also looking forward to Beelzebub, Hourou Musukou (been looking for a decent drama for a while) and Gosick. Fractale may also be worth a watch. But those are the ones standing out for me.

I'm busy updating the fourth post (3 more series I still need to cover), will have that up soon, but nothing to get excited about there.

Finally, I managed to finish off Seikon no Qwaser. If you haven't seen it yet, avoid at all costs. Seriously.

For me is was much worse than the first.

Really? One of the main things that bothered me about the first season was how rushed it was - 12 episodes covering two years. Since K-On!! is mostly character driven, getting to spend time with the characters and their quirks is part of what I enjoy. There isn't a lot of character growth, but you can't really expect it from this type of anime.
