The Official "MyGaming" Anime Thread

A newly animated OP and, the same song... Looks like this is the final opening sequence!

In this weeks episode, Gods flexed their muscles, words where spoken, hearts where broken and then mended too.

The episode preview for next week's episode seems to have had a massive bump in production quality. Which is a definite hint at the final stretch.

Additionally Chapter 690 and 691 where used in this episode. That leaves 9 chapters let to animate!

LOL… to be honest I mostly liked Highschool of the Dead because of the zombie survival theme and the great mix of characters. I just love Saeko Busujima...

Totally enjoyed it for the plot and characters... I own the BD/DVD set and surprisingly have not watched it as of yet. I suppose I should give it a go sometime in the future. Just too many other amazing shows to watch and keep me entertained, along with my to watch list which gets longer as the days go by.

Shigofumi's short plot is condensed into 13 episodes, 12 plus an OVA which ends the series, but mostly just ties up loose ends. It tells the tale of a postal workers who send letters from the recently departed, to one person of their choosing. Either for revenge or to gain closure. Either way, there was a main story element which was driven by smaller sub-plots, but I found some parts very similar to Hell Girl. Sans the revenge and subsequent reversal of fortunes found in Hell Girl. Personally I felt that the whole show fell a little short in it execution. Worth a watch if you enjoy easily solved mysteries and revenge stories.

I just finished watching Sword Art Online season 1 and 2, it was very good.

I Liked the Aincrad and GGO arcs. As it had a sense of urgency, never knowing whether someone was going to kick the bucket kept me on the edge of my seat :D. Mother's Rosario was a bit different, as the final outcome was inevitable, ALO just plainly annoyed me, with the borderline incest.

According to many, the Alicization arc is suppose to be the best.

I also enjoyed it because of the survival theme, it reminded me of "The Walking Dead''. Though, to me, my intrigue was diminished throughout the series, couldn't take their dire situation seriously, due to the ecchi. Even SAO, that isn't an ecchi genre, annoyed me with all the posterior angles, especially in GGO with Sinon.

Souta Takanashi, is roped into working at Wagnaria!! by Taneshima Popura a cute and short girl whom Takanashi finds alluring. He only accepts the job due to his love for cute and small things... Upon working at Wagnaria!! he is surprised to find that despite appearances, the staff is far from normal.
The premise is nothing new, so what does it offer that it's predecessors or similar shows don't? Nothing really...! Despite it's almost nonexsistant plot, the characters seem to keep everything going, in spite of them all being standard archetypes.
