Some news: Japan just got hit by a mother of an earthquake - measured 8.9 on the Richter scale. East Coast was hit by a 10m tsunami a while later. Major damage and flooding ... Sendai Airport is underwater for the most part.

One of my friends just went on a rampage now about the dolphin/whaling etc and how it's divine retribution. It's sickening really ... as much as I disagree with Japan's policies regarding those, just taking any kind of delight out of the current situation is disgusting as hell. Millions of innocent people, among them, I'm sure, people who don't like what's happening with the dolphins, are affected - have lost nearly everything up to and including family and a bunch of bone-headed fools feel the need to make a point.

Needless to say, I refuse to be associated with her any longer.

It is disgusting. I would have told my friend off. Well cliffy b did say good revenge for pearl harbor or something like that.

I kinda did ...

Question A: Who the hell's Cliffy B? Never heard of him
Question B: Does he have what amounts to an education? Specifically history - and maybe a couple of backhands from his dad to knock some common sense into him.
Question C: Was he at Pearl Harbor? Probably not. Neither was anyone else in Iwate Prefecture.

i get angry when i see the effort being put into stopping rhino pouching VS the effort in keeping the people safe, removing crime towards humanity in RSA. it's hypocritical to save the animal and not save the other animal imho.
 
...in other lighter news, where can i get manga and manhwa apart from awx or take 2 ? specifically looking for priest and claymore.

You could give Loot [Loot.co.za] a try ... I used to use them but I switched over to Take2 because it's more convenient for me. Not sure about their manwha stocks though.
 
Well ... the Spring 2011 release cycle is starting in the next 2 weeks, so there may be something worth watching there - I'll pop the list on here in the next couple of days - as for the Winter stuff, only a couple of series caught my attention - no idea whether you've seen them or not ... but:

And the following probably aren't your speed, but they seem to be fairly popular - especially Madoka Magica -

Currently watching supernatural the animation and really enjoying it.
Kore wa Zombie desu ka isn't bad either.

level e is also awesome... star driver is ok but entertaining. toaru majutsu is fun!
 
Hehe, i'm watching Anime too.
I've already seen Dragon Ball series / movies, Devil May Cry, Death Note ( Movie too ), curently i watch Naruto Shippuuden, Bleach and ocassionaly One Piece. Yeah, i like those fighting-style animes =)
