The Official "MyGaming" Anime Thread

Manga does disturbing things a bit better then anime,the gantz manga is pretty long and awesome.

You can also try the Bezerk anime,the manga is better though.

My favorite horror type manga so far are:
Gantz
Claymore
Berserk
Dance in the Vampire Bund
Princess Resurrection
Neighbor No 13
Fourteen
Elfen Lied
Uzumaki (this one is extremely disturbing)
Parasyte
Bio Meat (this one is pretty good,there is a number 2 as well)
Shingeki no Kyojin
Gyo (also weird)
Terra Formars (wish they would release new chapters,it's starting again this year)

Anime is mostly action and good storylines though there is allot of crap out there which is focused on fanservice and such.

You should try Gurren Lagann,It's like a legendary anime.it was a bit silly when i started it but it grow on me.

Started Reading JoJo's bizarre adventures.Pretty damn good.

The Teraformars manga recently got updated with 10 new chapters for season 2.
 
Today i saw a real life trap,longish blond hair,soft face,female pose but....no boobs.

Except they weren't Nick brand and they were just black with white shoelaces i think.

WOOT!! Nice find. ^_^ For those of you that have not seen any of Makoto's work this is more than worth your attention. Luckily I have them all on DVD :P

And done worry @shadowfox the list is a first come first served, that is why I asked for PM's. Makes it a bit easier to manage who wants what and who gets it. ^_^ The last time I did this I just made the list public and it was chaos.

I have Beyond the Clouds and 5cm on DVD :D

I haven't seen Children yet ... but I'm definitely parking off to watch that this weekend - apparently there is a new movie in the works.
 
im still new to other anime. started on other forums getting anime. Only thing i wish i had was more time ><
 
@z1oc Sadly time is a bit of b@tch when it comes to Anime. There is so much to watch. The best thing you can do is setup personal guidelines to watching.

My rules go as follow:
-If it hasn't gripped my by Ep 3 it gets put back on the to watch pile.
-When watching Shonen skip filler Eps like its a drug needle left in a public park. (Even better idea is to just read the Manga.)
-Try to figure out what studios you like and move their series to the top of your watching list. (Make a watch list! Excel, Word or http://www.anime-planet.com/ is an awesome place to keep track.)
 
ok cool noted im going to have a look for what type of anime they are and what not.

i have the list on my home pc.

I tend to organise my downloaded series in Incomplete, Complete, and Watched folders. Incomplete are obviously those that I'm still downloading, while the other two should be self-explanatory.

I've started putting together a spreadsheet of everything I have, because I've noticed that I have a bunch of duplicates - especially in those cases where I decided to redownload higher/BD quality to replace an older download, or where I have managed to get hold of the retail DVDs.

This is what my collection looked like back in September last year - it's grown a little since then :p
