I recommend anything by Gen Urobuchi (urubutcher ;) ). Like Psycho Pass, Suisei no Gargantia (2 episode's left) and Puella Magica Madoka!!, Fate Zero.

Robotics; Notes is done by the same people who done Stein's;Gate not as great, the ending is weak but the build up is good. Watch Stein's gate, it has a slow start but it's awesome.
Hyouka is another great anime :D , like High school version of Shakespeare done right.

I read the manga for Shingeki no Kyoujin - I don't have enough words to describe how great it is, a bit gruesome though.
Also bakemonogatari, darker than black is good.

The only thing Steins and Robotics have in common is the same dev studio for the games and the semi-colon in the name. They are done by different anime studios, the directors are different and even the manga artists are also different just by the way.

Production I.G worked on Robotics but I think they selling out a bit these days as opposed to the smaller production studios.

On a side note, Berserk Film 3 will be released shortly on Blu-ray and DVD in Japan.... Can't seem to find the release date again.

***EDIT
It was released on the 19th of this month, just got to wait for the R18 version to get subbed.

Really. Then there is no wonder Robotic notes really screwed up in several places. The execution and the pacing for steins;gate was so good. Even chaos;head didn't have such a messed up plot hole.

I'm starting to lose patience with Shingeki no Kyojin now ... damn the pacing in that show is unbelievable slow. I wonder if anybody realises if we've spent 8 episodes in the exact same time period. Meh ...

Anyways ... moving on, I've just finished watching Blood C - in 12 episodes it has more blood than the entirety of Blood+'s 52. Movie's up next - I'm going to try and fit that in tonight.

Suisei no Gargantia (2 episode's left)

wait what only 2 episodes left O.o i was expecting more

Yea i need to catch up on the manga the anime is slowish atm but still good.

Majestic prince, Shingeki no Kyoujin, Mushibugyou and Railgun are the only ones which are continuing.
The rest are finishing within the next episode or 2, and some have finished already, such as Date A Live.

But some of them could be split into 'so called' 2 seasons, such as Fate Zero was, and lets not forget Jormungand. With the way Date A Live ended, it will continue with a 'second season' as per say, and I believe some shows such as Suisei no Gargantia will be the same, since hardly anything has happened and it's ending.

As for Shingeki no Kyojin, I just watched Defence of Trost part 8 (episode 11). I don't mind the fact that they are in the same time period, however, I do find the pace of it to be very slow and dragged out. In the latest episode, you would expect something, but instead, they dragged the episode out and stopped it with a cliffhanger.

Most likely they will stop the anime at a certain point to get people to purchase the manga to continue the story. They have done it with so many show's it's a common practice.

Date-A-Live's second season has already been announced - the announcement was made at the end of the final episode.

Ore no Imouto has an additional 3 OVA episodes coming a little later this year.

Suisei no Gargantia might not get a 2nd season, since it's an original story, so unless they decide to adapt the short stories on the site, of which there were only 5, so there's not a lot of material to work with. If anything, those will only be spin-offs.

Done with season 1 of Code Geas (some of the last few episodes really left me bleak:cry:), I just started Eureka Seven and I'm in love:love:

I like it. The narrative tends to veer off occasionally IMO, but overall it's an enjoyable anime...

I'm curious about Code Geas.
Been recommended to watch it.

What's your feeling on it?

It's a very good anime, Lelouch plays his part so well even in the end of it all, party one of the reasons why I loved it so much was the development of his character. Also as Dee says it does tend to veer off the tracks at some points but it's still very awesome.
