Soul Eater is awesome, reminds me of Bleach.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Busou Renkin, Ergo Proxy, Shakugan no Shana, Claymore, Last Exile, Ikki Tousen,Full Metal Alchemist all i would wholeheartdly recommend :)

P.S. It gets really hectic 1Piece, better for you to read than me to spoil it :)

The ones in bold I've seen before. I've got the new FMA but haven't started watching it either. From what I saw briefly it looks like a retelling of the original story. I might be wrong.
 
I recommend Berserk (One of my absolute favs), Darker than Black, Death Note (Awesome), Kenichi, Blue Gender, Samurai 7, Furi Curi, Karas, Paranoia Agent, Ghost in the Shell. I've got lots more lol, but the list is getting long :D.

Ghost in the Shell got a bit meh after awhile, still a very good story.

I have all the Berserk manga and read it all, plus own a few figurines :D
Goes way beyond the anime, must must read the manga to the end ;)

I didn't enjoy Blue Gender that much to be honest with you.
I enjoyed Elfen Leid for some weird reason :p
 
I think I liked Blue Gender cuz I like the atmoshpere of an end of the world scenario where there's almost no one around. The feeling of lonely isolation against overwhelming odds :). Kinda like 'I am Legend'.

Elfen Lied was quite hectic, but I think Gantz takes the cake for seriously messed up :D.
 
lolol @ Gantz. Yea the whole "win so many games and you go free" thing. I don't think i've watched that much utter chaos since Berserk :o

Tenjou Tenge never felt complete to me, even with the OVA's. Kenshin was truly brilliant, and the OVA's were pretty damn sad.
 
Hiten Mitsurugi was the stuff from Kenshin :D

Samurai Deeper Kyo was pretty awesome, the ending was so cool.

Saddest Anime I ever watched was prob Cowboy Bebop :'(
 
Yeah, Cowboy Bebop was greatness, very sad ending indeed. Samurai Deeper Kyo I found to be pretty average after that really cool first episode.

I remember Scryed being pretty cool too.
 
aaaaaa yes SCRYDO!!! As they used to scream in the anime heh

I actually stopped reading manga and anime for awhile cause i was so upset about Cowboy Bebop :p

As for SD Kyo, i prefer the manga really ;)
