One of the shows I was most looking forward to this season ... pupa, has turned into a bit of a disappointment. It's supposed to be a horror (I know the horror tag is a bit subjective when it comes to anime), but it's been turned into a 4 minute short, and they've censored the living hell out of it ...

@Glordit - I don't know if you're keeping tabs on this season's series - but there's a new Sunrise mecha type airing - called Buddy Complex. I've watched the first episode, and I'm generally not a mecha fan, so I can't give you an aye or nay, but I figured you might want to take a look.

I've been reading the the manga of Pupa and there is very little to no censorship.
Has anyone read the first chapter of 'All you need is kill'?
It's looking pretty awesome so far,it's an adaption of a light novel.There is also a movie coming out this year called 'Edge of Tomorrow' that will be having Tom Cruise as one of the main actors.I hope they add enough gore but knowing them there will probably very little to none.

They've gone and Americanised it, which already earns it some marks in my little black book. But ... assuming they don't go and change the story too much, it should definitely be worth the watch.
There will be an uncensored version - but we may just have to wait all the way to the BD release for it. But I've been looking at other comments ... and some people are saying they've already screwed up the story.

I saw it come up on my RSS so going to have a look at it. Thanks for the heads up though
They will probably air a "late night" version of the show with less censoring and the DVD/BD rips will have little to none.

Skimmed through the first episode of Buddy Complex looks like a mashup of SEED and Valverave. Not too sure if it's good or bad.
I am seriously hooked on Tower Of God, it would make such a awesome Anime but it would also make such a crap anime (it's like a double standard) you cant always have the best of everything.

Looks like the entire series is going straight to BD at the end of the season - which releases on March 28. I doubt we'll see uncensored before that, given that it's already airing after midnight.

The Japanese isn't bad, I've just not perfected the blissful skill of reading and watching at the same time. It's a pain not being able to look away, even for a second.

There's no English dub available yet - although the series is scheduled for home video release in the US this year through Funimation - I would assume that they will provide an English track for the series at that point.

Watch enough and you get used to it, to the point where you don't even notice you are reading subtitles lol.

Have to stay focused on the subs, but not only that, I find the Japanese voices annoying.

Same,i can't even imagine watching anime dubs anymore (Ichigo is fcking everywhere)
Zoro's voice is just plain epic in OnePiece.
