R+V Manga was way more darker and had plenty more story than the anime, was happy (for fan service) but at the same time sad (that they didn't add the darker elements to it).

I believe the Genre to be called "Harem". Which is strange as a Harem in Turkish Arabic was usually a sacred place for women, and men were forbidden to enter. How ever it does have other meanings, in most other cultures it was simply a room to house the royal servants, and family (all being women of course).

I will admit to have seen far more Harem anime than I care for :(
 
Hunter X Hunter is probably the best shonen show out at the moment, I am busy playing catch up with it. Currently on episode ~95, not on filler has come across my eyes.
 
Started watching the first season of Hajime no Ippo, so good.

Really been getting into a lot of sports based anime.

Anyone watched Ace of Diamond or Prince of Tennis?

Not sure if it counts; but I watched Yakitake Japan!! not too long ago. It's based around competitive bread-making so it kinda is spor related :p
 
Currently watching FLCL, Soul Eater, and Full Metal Panic... FLCL is amazing odd, it's brilliant though :D.

I'm enjoying the others as well. After that I'll be moving on to Honey and Clover

Well at the moment I'm rewatching episodes 300 - 335, just really want this Kakashi arc to end.

I used to read the manga but stopped after a while, would rather watch the anime than read the manga.

I've done the same with Bleach, watched up until 366 and then just stopped. Didn't continue reading the manga at all, hoping that one day they will decide to animate those last few arc's.
