And so the latest Steam sale is nearly upon us. That of course means that there is a new Steam Sale video doing the rounds:


Are you ready for the sale? Have you built up some wallet funds?

What are you hoping to get?

Maybe once the sale has started we can use this thread to post any good deals we find and to tally up our damages from the sale.

I don't have a PC any more, I consider this a brief respite to my wallet. Though it won't stop me from looking.
 
Hopefully Ikagura goes on sale for R56 or less (all I've got in my wallet).

Maybe I should try and peddle a few more cards :P
 
Thanks to a decent weapon skin and case drop in CSGO, along with selling off some cards I have just over R100 in my Steam wallet - I'm planning on getting Vanquish, just hoping for a decent enough discount.
 
I don't have any cash in my wallet, but I have 4 pages of cards to sell. It seems like too much effort to sell them all and, besides, I might want to craft the badges some day. :)

I'm not too interested in the sale, to be honest. I own most games I'd want to play the rest of the year, so I might consider the sale at the end of the year.

I made just over R200 from selling cards. My cards and my wife gave me all her cards from the last couple of years.

So I'm really hoping to get Pillars of Eternity. My biggest worry is that it will be the next Humble Monthly Bundle early unlock. Hopefully not!

You can get a plugin for chrome called enhanced steam, or something like that, which make the process a bit easier and enables you to sell [near] instantly with 1 click.

Why would you think that? Is there a pattern?

It's unlikely because I would imagine PoE to be one of the early unlocks that would entice people into subscribing for the month.

Nah, it's because I've asked both Humble Bundle support and Obsidian if they can make it a Humble Monthly Bundle game. That was earlier in the year. :) Obsidian told me to keep an eye out for the Steam sale but I planted an idea in their heads.

Hehe which is why I said I'm worried it'll be one of the early unlocks for the next Humble Monthly Bundle.

Well I'm disappointed. Pillars of Eternity got a price increase especially for this sale. Lots of people are complaining. So I guess I'll buy something else then. :(
