So My Pc arrived on friday and after picking up desks and other things that needed to happen i eventually got to the point where i could get it, and so i began doing my nuts and bolts check all seemed well...

until i opened my BX2450 box, everything seemed fine everything in its original packing let me just pick this up and......F!@#! the screens chassis is coming off...

ya they managed to break my screens cover, not sure how they must have put weight on the box right through the polystyrene and ya.

also im quite the visualphile...

eeew... that looks ugly... why would you go for a design like that?

jk... that sucks bud, was it labeled as fragile?
If so, I would take that up with the courier company, and is there any damage visible before you opened it (ie. the box)?

Curious about this bit^. That damage though :(, at least the screen itself is fine and usable until it's sorted :)

Good question actually...shitty glass-to-edge design aside, screens in my experience have a good 3-10cm of Styrofoam cover so it'll take a pretty fierce hit.

That has been dropped, hard, From quite a height. Force from weight would have given it a almost circular damage pattern or hairline fractures in the area where most of the weight was applied.

Ooh that sucks. You should send that back for replacement. I must agree with Glordit though. That definitely looks like it's been dropped

Same thing happened to me when I got my screen, damaged during shipping, you could see the box was damaged. But it was swapped out without an issue. (via LandmarkPC)
