The PSP2 is just as powerful as the PS3

Thats what they said about the PSP compared to the PS2. I'm sure it quite powerful though, after seeing Trinity Blade on iPhone I believe they will come close to the current console, while within reason.
 
Does this mean the "security exploit" will render the P2P(See what i did there :cool:) useless right out of the box?

To my literal mind, "as powerful" means that the PSP2 would have to have the same hardware capabilities and processing power as the PS3. Sounds like a marvel of miniaturisation to me. :P So they managed to keep everything running cool? :P
This is why I am skeptical about this.

If on the other hand what he meant to say is that the image quality at whatever resolution the PSP runs at is comparible to that of the PS3....well....maybe, thought the textures probably wouldn't be as good....I think.
 
I wonder what the battery life would be?

It's bad timing considering Tegra 3 is just around the corner.
 
think PSP2 looks crazy good for a hand held console, but from the videos i have seen it's not quite as good as PS3.
One thing to remember is it only has a resolution of like 960 x 544 or something like that, which is a far shot from PS3's full HD

Still really looking forward to it!!!!!

I don't believe it for a second even if the cpu doesn't have to sample 1080p resolutions. That doesn't mean though I'm not excited for it. Well, at least until they announce the official price! ;D
 
The PSP2 will be epic. With the current memory card sizes... Will be a portable ps3.... Thats Dam sexy.
