Guys who originally worked on Quake and Doom working on a new FPS.

Yes, I know neither has done anything major outside Doom or Quake, but I hope they have a great idea and concept.

EDIT: Adrian Carmack (not relation to John Carmack) did the artwork on games at id Software and Romero did a lot of the level design and programming.

lol, is that fame or infamy? :p I remember, I got the game, wasnt too bad, sent him an email saying the game wasnt that bad. HE ACTUALLY replied! Saying thank you and that he did wish he could make the in game companions be better.

Haha that's pretty cool that he replied. No wonder you are keen for this new game!

Might be just some nostalgia goggles too, those days of Doom and Quake were just the best. Some of my most memorable gaming memories are from then.

Ahh the 90's...imagine if someone were to do that add today? Imagine other adds too? This one, for obvious reasons, I still remember. :love: But the game was pretty good, visuals for its time were amazing.

Speaking of Carmack, I wonder if he ever gets the urge to do something like he did when he started id Software, kinda like what Romero and Adrian is doing now...

This is the first smart thing they've done in my opinion. Who in their right mind would support a campaign that has absolutely nothing to show, from developers that haven't made any proper games in decades?
