The search feature

There are countless "double threads" popping up lately which could be avoided if they had just used the search feature. The search feature is quick, easy, effective and annoys less people when you use it properly. The search function is shown below.

Also, I'd say the vBulletin search is kinda crappy.

Try using the site:mygaming.co.za/forum operator in google.

e.g. you would search for:

how to search site:mygaming.co.za/forum

Yea dude, you'd think that 15 years of being used to a "search bar" on the site where you can type something in (and not have to look for or click on something else) to be able to search for would be easy huh?

I spent LITERALLY 15 minutes looking for a search feature on this forum and it never dawned on me to click "Search Thread" since THAT IS NOT WHAT I WANTED TO DO. I wanted to search the entire forum....

Sometime we're all fools. Every person thinks differently so in the end trying to cater for each person is a massive mission impossible 3000. So we try and go for the average or middle... sometimes you hit the target sometimes you don't. But these double posts are kind of annoying yeah. Specially the 'new hardware/new build' threads... Millions of them.

My other annoyance is the people who bring old threads back to life just to score points for competitions... kind of silly.
