Same here. And apparently you can't use the 50% off on sale items and right now the Half-life series is going for 75% off so it makes the voucher pretty much pointless at the moment.
 
I've already bought 4 games over the past 2 days. I don't even want to know what its going to be like when the games I really want go on the daily sale! I bought Portal 2, Metro 2033, Psychonauts & Costume Quest.

Its a bit sad that Duke Nukem is sitting at $5. I thought the game was alright

and that is why I bought Duke Nukem now, cause its so cheap, even for a game that is a little sub par its still worth $5 :)
Also got Costume Quest after reading the review on MyG
 
After the two games in the beginning I have now gotten two coal which is cool because it's entries into the draw. I'm so happy about Amnesia! That was really a great present from Steam.
 
Got 2 coals for the easy stuff, won't get any for game achievements (I own 2 games :) ).

Got 50% off a steam title released before 2 Jan, and can only spend it after 2 Jan.
 
All the vouchers I've got so far, are for games that are cheaper now than they would be with the vouchers when the vouchers are valid, so they are really worthless.
 
Ahem, let me ask my question again...

It seems to me that some people get more than one gift, e.g. a new voucher or game every day? Is this true? Why do so many people speak of voucherS and giftS that they received?

If this is true, why did I only get one voucher on day one?

I understand that the coal you get for achievements, so I am talking about everything except for coal.

You don't necessarily get coal for achievements. From what I've read you've got a 3/4 chance to get a coal. The other quarter is mostly made up of vouchers and then games.

So basically with every achievement you've got a chance of getting a game. Not such a bad chance either.
