Wow. I see old method of cheating country is now void*.

All content is country marked, your cart is country marked and then matched with billing... any mismatch and cart is dropped even before you could pay like previously.

Zones is kak. The end.

Yeah, I noticed they fixed that bug. Sigh.

Not really willing to test the VPN trick, as it goes directly against the SSA.
 
Don't think so. Lots of people use gifting to get around region restrictions. I did it for Mark of the Ninja.

Steam isn't allowed to sell you items that are not available in your region, but if someone gives them to you it's another matter.

That is more for the services that do mass gifting to sell games cheaper or different version rather than just random people swapping games.
 
Yep, these region restrictions are ridiculous. Prototype 2 is a good example... you can't buy it on steam, but you can buy it locally in-store and then when you go and install the locally bought version, it installs on steam. I'm pretty sure there's an idiotic wasted step in there somewhere.

Back to the Steam sales... has anyone played the Batman AC DLC? Is it worth it?
Because the complete Batman AC GOTY edition is now effectively R10 cheaper than the Harley's Revenge DLC.
