How do I find out which version I already have?

on your lib open installed/available, then highlight the title, then click visit store page. that's how i looked.

:edit
there is a history where you can see what you have bought in steam client somewhere if you deleted your mails. i would double check there.

found it...jeeez

steam client -> settings -> account -> view account history

Guys, just checking before I buy this QuakCon deal ..

This will be available from until the 15th right?
It's just individual ones such as Oblivion that will be a one day special?

Yes and yes. Remember we working on there timezones like if you check now we are still on the 12th.

I cant seem to buy that Oblivion. The checkout page asking for my payment information, the credit card mastercard drop down.. if I use it it gives me a Javascript error. I cant even access the drop down in FireFox, IE lets me "with errors on page"

Whats up? hmm...

Isn't the Oblivion special over? Thats the only reason I can think of for why you're getting an error message. Maybe it can't link the item to the order because it doesn't exist anymore.
Just a thought.

Murph the special is still on till about 7/8 pm today before it changes. MrG maybe check if your java is up to date or check that something like no script is not blocking it.

Try doing it through Steam rather?

Purchasing through steam worked perfectly. :)

I was under the impression that Steam just used Internet Explorer. Weird that it works in there.

Steam now runs with webkit I believe.

I've never tried purchasing in a browser, always through steam itself.

Steam now uses the Webkit rendering engine, same engine used for Chrome/Safari. I do make regular purchases just through Firefox though and that works fine for me. Next time you wind up on the page giving you the error, try pressing ctrl+f5. This forces the browser to fetch the latest content from the server instead of using a possibly corrupt javascript file in your browser's cache.
