I'm pretty keen on pressing the "add to cart" button on Shift. Have been wanting to check that out for a while. Hot Pursuit is also something that seems rather enticing. But I think I will rather wait and see what specials crop up during the week.

Undercover is ok. Nothing great, for $2.50 you cannot go wrong. But I wouldn't buy this if it were selling at full price.

Haha, I wish!

Well, that's the problem for me. I don't have a steering wheel, I also don't really want to buy one specifically for this. Then again, one doesn't have to have one for this, although it is preferred.

Indeed. R14 isn't much of a hit even for a terminally broke person like myself - so I bought it :D

Hit that button! Shift will not let you down :p
And R166 for HP is one hell of a bargain for a (another) great game.

Come on, Plants vs Zombies is awesome! :)

Even comes with a couple of hats for Team Fortress 2. Which is nice. Because I never get any hats.

Well ... I bought and installed NFS:Undercover last night - can kinda see why people don't want to pay full-price for it. As a racer, it's not exactly shoddy, but the whole story element they're trying to tack onto it, ends up being exactly that: tacked on. They seemed to assume that having a couple of hotties in the videos would negate this (does anyone even remember who Christina Milian is?) - an assumption that falls apart a bit.

The car modification of the game is also hella confusing - not nearly as polished as what I experienced in other titles of the series. So, not much compared to Underground 1 and 2 and Most Wanted, but for $2.50 I can ignore the shoddy bits and just focus on racing :)

well there's your problem....

Steam is good but limiting yourself to one platform is just silly

Do you have a problem with me wanting all the games I've purchased in one place where it is easy for me to access many years down the line?

I dislike having retailed games gathering dust that will eventually be lost.

Let me begin my stating I am an avid steam platform supporter. Very convenient, reliable with added extras.

I will however not go buy a game on Steam that costs $20 if I can get it in store in a classic format for R60. e.g Deadspace

I will then buy it in store and run those games via X-Fire. Still works well.
