Those who haven't played the Prince of Persia games, do so now! I haven't played The Forgotten Sands yet. At R50 I think I may. Does it still have that horrible DRM where you have to be online the whole time?
 
sad thing is i'm only getting paid friday-ish, by then the splinter cell conviction special will probably have come and gone :(
 
I've got Prince of Persia : Forgotten Sands on my netbook, ASUS 1201N it plays pretty well and doesn't need to be online.
But then again I didn't buy it from Steam.
Shouldn't be any different if you buy from Steam though.

firstly, you've got to be on IS, mweb or WA for your isp (i'm on WA)
there's a thread somewhere on the WA forums detailing everything.
basically, you download steamwatch, edit its xml config to only download off your isp's servers and use tcpview to make sure that it's not trying from other mirrors.

in the steam client, you can also go to settings > downloads & cloud > download region
i'm not sure if that makes any difference though.

Still going to look at getting a rss feed to forum post to easify the process, afaik vbulletin can be setup so that it can take rss to forum posts.
 
So who wants to speculate on the next Ubi special. I reckon there will be Settlers VII one day, Splinter Cell Collection, what else?
