I purchased Deus Ex HR no problem. Then tried buying it for a friend on the same day. The steam code didn't work so I emailed their support, they responded that the card was rejected for that order (couldn't tell me why as the card companies don't pass on the info but they suggested it's usually for "suspicious activity" such as a double purchase or something) What they said matched up though as I hadn't received an sms about the payment like I did the first time, so I tried again the next day and it went through.
So, ja not the smoothest payment process but it worked in the end and their specials are good.

Exactly what I got. Twice is hard to believe it was *just* a card issue. maybe this is why seriousfan removed them from there facebook.
 
This is not really a special but rather something I discovered this weekend.

I always knew that you can add your non-steam games to your steam library, but after having some games crash when I used Alt+Tab to access the internet, I thought I'd try adding the non-steam game to steam and see if the Shift+Tab brings up the same UI overlay. It seems that it does in most games so I'm pretty much adding all my games to my Steam library now. The web browser in the UI overlay is quite useful.

I found this function quite useful, so thought I'd share. Just gotta love steam.
 
carefull with PB games . Ive found that non steam games that run PB kicks you with error ( cant remember what exactly ) every time steam messages pop up.

Cod 4 as an example.

Depends on what you're looking for. It's basically Gears of War with a Space marine skin.

I found it highly enjoyable.

In fact I have never played any of the warhammer games. I see Dawn of war 2 is also on special.

Are they worth getting?

Whats the online play like?

The DoWII games are brilliant and a lot of fun, especially in co-op. I think I might grab Space Marine myself. :D

Cool, and the single player, any good?

I would be keen on some co op though, sounds fun.

Would say the DOWII complete edition is worth it @ $20?
