A new game was recently announced by Bound by Flame developers, Spiders, a paris-based indie game developer, that features a new kind of space odyssey RPG. The game is called The Technomancer, and its their latest project in the works. The interesting, post-apocalyptic RPG takes place on Mars during a time called “the War of Water†where you play as a seasoned warrior on the run fromâ€secret police.†Some back story from the devs,
“On the run from the Secret Police and confronted by the harsh realities of the Red Planet, you must undertake a quest that takes you through tribal communities, cities lost under the ice, and dystopian shanties sprawled across Mars’ dusty embrace.â€
The game is reportedly a level-up RPG with 4 unique skill trees you can develop slice your way through the perilous Mars setting. The game will also include a unique crafting system where you can modify your gear from the inventory system. Something particularly interesting which seems to set this game apart is that quests will have multiple ending, altering your story as you progress.
The game is set to release sometime 2016 on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
