The Thin Metal

I'm not sure about any of you, but thin metal in contact with my mouth is not a pretty feeling. For example, taking a thin teaspoon knocking it against my teeth will send me running for the hills. It's sorta like scratching nails on a black board.

Anyway, in my moment of genius today I decided to take out my lip ring for the first time to see if I could get it back in. Well...I couldn't :o I can't screw in the little ball. So now I have a stud in my mouth made of thin metal :eek: I need a cry emote. This is fail.

P.S. If anyone has ANY idea on how to get said ball back where it's supposed to be, please enlighten me. It looks like there's some art to it that I'm missing here o_O

Shame man, that sounds horrible... couldn't you just go back to the place you got it done and see if they can coach you on putting it back?
 
I'm going to have to =S But it's a bit of a drive. It's going to look so strange running back in after almost 4 months asking for help haha.
 
I had some piercings a youngster, but I will never get one again. I also wouldn't know how you can solve your problem mate, best of luck. Make sure that doesn't get infected, then you'll have an even bigger problem.

That was the point of taking it out silly ;) I'm going to have to have to take it out some time so rather now instead of during an "emergency."
 
The rings are a biotch to get back in. I know.... I guess you have the one where the little round ball snaps into place? If so, good luck! I struggled for quite a bit with mine before I got it right.

I had a chin ring (labret) for a few years when I was a teenager, and I would constantly take the ball off and play with it. Almost swallowed it a few times.
