In other news,

I finally got myself a Gfx card upgrade...after 4 years. I was sporting an 8600GT which was sucking the bum & replaced it with an ASUS GTX 560 top cu II. The thing is bloody massive! Had to remove hard drives from their bays because it wouldn't fit otherwise - and I ran out of molex adapters to plug additional power into the card.

But yeah all in all it's a happy camper again. 2 months back I had the worst setup. Shoddy 384 line that couldn't even handle wow, crappy 4gb ram and a sucky gfx card.

8GB DDR3 corsair vengeance
4Mb dsl line

Finally i can play BF3

Gaan goed dankie Voicy. Nice setup hoor, ek dink ek moet my BF se BF3 oorvat by hom en dit try speel aangesien hy dit nie rerig speel nie.

@Wyv, slightly better today, im all drugged up on Sinumax and Grandpa. im about to have a Berocca so i dont feel like the walking dead.

Yeah, I missed out on the BC2 era due to my pc (was still running an E7400 chip back then before it fried)

I'm so out of sync with FPS games, I've lost my BF2 spark entirely ... BF3 maps and HUD are confusing as all hell. Having said that, the Karkand / Sharqi revamped maps are AMAZING! I actually know where to go to, which makes a huge difference. :)

Only sucky thing is the steamrolling that geared players do vs those with no unlocks.
