I must say was rather impressed last night with the Cape Town stadium - looks great. Horrific venue tho for bands.

Yea Grim - acoustics was horrible. To give you an idea:

That was where we sat - we couldnt see the screens on the sides once the seats filled up. Also the sound kinda got lost - too loud so that you struggled to hear some of the songs properly. I have to say tho for ou toppies - they are still allowed to perform. Jislaaik all of them impressed me. And the fact that the original members except for their background vocals are still the original members.

I am Frakking Lazy! Played some Kingdom's of Amalur again last night after submitting my TMA (Tutor Marked Assignment) for my course. My Char is hugely overpowered, don't think I needed to use a health potion one as my healthbar never dropped under 90%. At one point was standing in the Gnome city just killing guards that swarmed me. Ended up with a bounty of 200K gold. Which was fine because after paying it I still had like a Million gold left with nothing to spend it on.... :wtf:

Hehehe That was about an hour before the show started, by 8 it was getting full, by 8:30 it was packed - but it was too dark to take a shot of them then. (my cell camera sucks ) Loved the fact that they did a 2 hour set, minimal talking from the band and continuous music. They truly are still amazing live. But yea I would have preferred the Velodrome as a venue - the people behind us and on the stands really had a hard time to hear the show. Its one of the big issues with the stadium as a venue. Its why I normally skip shows there but the tickets where a gift so I went Only disappointment was that they didnt play Tequila Sunrise - my all time fav Eagles song. They did do all the others tho so cannot complain at all.
