I am trying to figure out why the fuck one of our staff members wants to use our spare pc at his fooken house. He can buy his own fooken pc can't he? WTF is up with crap like that. He is taking the piss for sure. Starting to irritate the crap out of me because of this constant nagging that I have to format the pc for him. So I told him I will format but he can then install windows and all the crap he wants.

i hate it when ppl are so naggy Wyvz....why does he need the pc at home? or a better question would be why doens he have a pc at home? i though almost everyone has a pc nowadays...

I know what you mean. There have been a few incidents over here too when work people try to waste your time with nothing-to-do-with-work arb tasks so that they can do something in their private time...

You have the right idea there, thinking about doing the same. (I like the idea of an open, all-free software environment to do home stuff on).
 
He has a laptop at home. Supposedly it cant run the autocad - that he borrowed from the office since he refused to buy it. What is pissing me off is the nagging - he is constantly nagging about crap, his chair is old, he wants the new Revit software - at R30k for the office the boss isnt going to buy it! Especially since he is the only one who can use it. EVERYONE we work with uses Autocad. But that isnt good enough for this idiot. Jirre I wasnt in the best of modds this morning - it feels like a truck drove over me a few times - and then he comes up with this shyte. He is constantly also nagging for a new plotter - the fooken things arent cheap, ours work fine its just a tad slow and can't use colour - is his fooken hands gonna fall off if he has to colour in some plans? I meanthey give it to me to colour in in anycase.

Sorry for the rant but today I just had enough.

Tell him no!! Work PC's are owned by the company therefore they stay at the company, if he wishes to use a PC for work related instances he must buy himself one for home.

And I just had the best but nasty idea .. . .

Ill wait for him to gou out for lunch, and I will remove some of the RAM in that pc he wants to take home. He is already bitching and moaning because I dont have a keyboard or mouse for him. He can buy his own if he wants to fooken work from home on our pc.

Another day and I'm still waiting for the nice folks at WA to transfer my ADSL line :( I think I will have over-come my internet addiction before I have access to my 4mb line....
 
LOL Nima - you know who I am talking about :P

And klap WA - altho your not missing out on much at the moment with their line problems - last nite I would have loved your line since it would have been better than nothing.
