So Save the Children turned out to be just another corporate body. Cancelled my contract on Friday evening late without even so much as a "thanks for your work." On the positive side, I no longer have to sit there between the True Believers suppressing my Misanthropy everytime I read a "Your appeal moved us to donate...." letter. Also I've already gotten 2 possible new positions through the agency and 1 directly from a company I worked for a few months Back. Life is good.

Sucks, but "people" really isn't the best line of work for you anyway.
