i've won twice but back then tinny ran the compos and you had 2 give a good reason why you wanted to win (which actually worked) and the rules where enforced ie 20 posts (not spam posts) for the week etc.

at present every d!ckhead just registers, spams, wins, dissapears.

Hehehe Yup economics. I don't read cook books, because the food pictures make me hungry.

Explanation: If one individual or group gets something at no cost, somebody else ends up paying for it. If there appears to be no direct cost to any single individual, there is a social cost. Similarly, someone can benefit for "free" from an externality or from a public good, but someone has to pay the cost of producing these benefits.

Yep, Social cost should always be considered. Its why people with this Moocher attitude that is sweeping the world pisses me off so much.

Have u read Atlas Shurgged?

Its an epic read, thicker than a Bible and can get a bit dull in areas but addresses so many issues and I tend to see alot of it in the world today. While I wouldn't call myself an Objectivist I do find some of the idea's in Rand's philosophy intruding. Have bother Atlas Shrugged & the Fountain Head on Audiobook but need to listen to the Fountain Head still.
