Hey Grimspoon :P

Nah, Outrage 550 but with a flybarless conversion kit from Compass. Took out the whole front of the heli with part of the receiver jammed right into the lipo pack. I just wish I knew what went wrong, because I can't find the problem after all the damage after hitting the dirt at a rather awesome speed.

@ Shadow - oh hells yeah that could work as well! Just need to turn off the phone though!

Shame dude that really sucks. I have crashed many times so I know how kak that feels.

Hey Omega, how is the weather over yonder ?

Grims, yeah I can live with making a mistake, but this was caused by something electronic :S What do you fly btw ?

I have 3 choppers, a apache 4 channel, a Syma S301 and a Esky Lama.

Pretty keen on a raptor once I get a bit better.

If I remember correctly the Raptor is fuel, not electric. Or are you converting it?

If you are looking for a fuel based heli, I have a Compass Knight 3D with loads of spares. Just needs a receiver and it is ready to fly.

I actually am not sure what I should go for. Fuel sounds fun but is it not harder to fly or is it the same?

You selling your Compass?

We fly electric only so the nitro is just gathering dust nowadays.

They are actually pretty much the same , the electric being a tad more punchier than the nitro. However the nitro can give you around 15mins of flight time where as electric you normally look at around 5 - 6 mins tops whilst preserving the battery packs. Remember to always leave 20% charge in the packs, never go under that when using lipos. A123 is a different ball game though :P

Yeah ... that's my Xmas face as well.

Glad to hear I am not the only one. Wish I knew what it was about this time of year that is so fucking depressing.
I have 2 days with the inlaws over the weekend, both the 24th & the 25th, both at the Four Seasons in Canary Wharf. Only diff between the two days? On Sunday the 86 yr old Grandfather (he is still "sane") will be joined by his 80 something yr old, bat-shit crazy, wife.

You and me both. I hate this time of the year - and I've spent years trying to figure out why. At first I thought it was because I don't really celebrate (no reason to), then I suspected the being forced to listen to the same music every time I walk into a shop for 2 months running.

Not that I'm sure.

And then there're the family gatherings. I don't do family gatherings. Not well anyways :p
