I had 3 glasses of this to break in the New Year.

Man, never thought deciding on which area to live in the UK would be such a mission ....... so many nice areas each with their own benefits.

Basically anywhere within an hour of Gloucestershire and basically the area near Wales ..... buddy has a pub that I'm going to be partnering with while doing the cheesecake thing. Some very nice properties in the 800-900 pound range with nice gardens too.

Ah the country side. Prefer the buzz of London Town myself. Much cheaper to live outside of the capital however.

I have lost my entire STEAM games library....

Windows went belly up, so I had to reinstall from scratch. I installed STEAM, logged into my account, and....my games library was empty. There is not even an option to download what I have already bought. :(

I guess I should have backed up my games.

My sister came over from Ilford to sped 10 days' holiday with us. When she left East London airport, the temperature was a sultry 30 degrees C. When she arrived at Heathrow it was around 6 degrees.

In the absence of my STEAM library, I installed Advent Rising this evening. It takes a looooong time to get going. The storey for the game was written by Orson Scott Card. [Wrote the "Ender" series.]

9 degrees sounds heavenly about now, damn this heat.

Soz about your games dude, sheesh, that is very uncool. I thought Steam was supposed to be able to have a record of what games you have?

Did you remove your previous steam installation?
Did you install over your previous steam installation?

Normally you would have renamed your current steam installation to something else, then installed steam to where you wanted it and then finally copy from the apps folder your games, then they would have been there, but they would have been as with first installation, meaning they need to run their initial setup.

However loosing your windows, you might have lost your saves if you have not backed up/moved that before you started reinstalling windows... (also obviously your appdata folder)
