Mornings to the rest ....... and about Mondays, not the best day but not the worst. Tuesdays sux big time cause all those @!#$#@ who believe Mondays sucks leave their issues for Tuesday and thus making it the worst day.

Okay, doing a format and reinstall of Windows 7 for the first time in 2 years. I've been putting it off for way too long, so it's about time.

Hold thumbs everything goes smoothly for me, please. I don't want to spend 12 hours getting Windows working again.

Graal just use the "windows easy transfer" to backup your current settings. Makes it much easier!

Yeah, but I actually want that new fast PC feel that a clean install brings. Nothing of the old Windows must remain, not even settings.

I'm waiting on some builders to do some repair work at my flat, so I might as well go the full mile, seeing as I've got nothing better to do.

ANd from now on, I go back to formatting and reinstalling once every six months. I mustn't be lazy like I was with this Windows install.

Just do the transfer for your documents then, it saved all my saved games which I hadn't even realised till I wanted to replay ME2. Found my backup and did the my docs restore and all my saves were intact!

As for the reload every 6 months. Maybe a bit of an overkill , once a year sounds less crazy However a good idea would be to do a base install with the main apps / drivers that you require and then make an image file of it. Then you just use the image file when needed.

I am tempted to test out Win8 CP edition at home, but I don't feel like formatting at all
