I am quite enjoying it. Tagging 4 enemies, waiting for your squad to line up their shots and then firing at the same time is really awesome, when letting you play as sneaky as you want it is brilliant, when trying to copy cod for action heavy firefights... not so much. I also dont like the game rewarding you for playing they way they want; you unlock components for your weapons by completing challenges during missions, mostly there are ok but every now and again the challenge will be something like "kill 10 guys without reloading with a LMG" I dont want to bring a LMG, I prefer a Long Range Semi-auto rife with a SMG like a P90 with a 2 step trigger for CQC.

Graphics is a bit dated and sometimes the cover system is a bit iffy but mostly its a decent game. Its not for everyone though.
So what your saying is i shouldnt buy it for xbox then?

no what you said is i shouldnt buy it for both xbox and pc... ;) i guess i can wait for it to be sold 2nd hand for xbox, as i dont intend on playing it online with the xbox

Yeah and by that i meant you should get it for Xbox since its From Ubisoft and probably has some weird ass DRM on the PC version.

I'd watch it regardless :p The Aliens-franchise is probably still one of my all-time favourites, and with Ridley Scott back in charge I'm expecting it to be awesome.

You know its not a direct prequel to Alien right? It ties together in some, as yet, unknown way. There are def similarities but yeah, I've read a wide range of different theories on it so it will be interesting to see. Worst part is its all in 3D, there is no 2D showing. 3D gives me head aches.

I've read some of the theories and stuff, but as far as I understand it the movie takes place in the Alien universe, except that I'm not sure if it involves the xenomorphs themselves.

I've got a feeling they're going to tie to the original message that diverted the Nostromo to that planet in the original Alien movie - probably a survivor that ended up working for Weyland-Yutani and decided that someone needed to be sent to check things out. We'll have to see.

Regarding that 3D thing - that's a major disappointment  My eyes can't deal with that crap.

Yeah, Hopefully whatever ties the movies together is more than just the space jokey.

Same, I hate 3D but waiting for this movie to hit Blu-Ray is just not an option.

Nope this time I will skip it, the 3D causes me to have migraines for two weeks on and off. . .I cant handle the after effects any more. I have already decided I wont go to another 3D movie if I can't help it.
