Actually no, they are expensive to buy since you have to buy from a reputable breeder to avoid medical or temperament issues. The obedience school is a bit expensive but its only a 6 week course. Actually maintaining them isn't that expensive, you just need to brush them once a week, clean their ears regularly and make sure the folds are kept clean and dry.

We had a bunch of chow's and they ate like there's no tomorrow, apart from the nasty eating habits you should just be weary of entropion, our one chow suffered from it, wasn't a very pleasant medical bill.

No Idea... :/

Ranges from £8 to £80 a Month.

We might be moving into a new Apartment and if we do I want to take out proper house hold insurance considering all my expensive toys. With Direct Line you can get Home & Pet Insurance so we will do that.

I'm in the same boat, but don't think I'll be able to afford an extra R500 p/m
