i see its available on steam ! (would probably be cheaper but apparently the pc port is crappy) apparently the game has the bare minimum for a story

Avoid the PC port, I've heard its terribad. U should be able to get it cheap on 360.
There is lots of story its just that non of it is spoon fed and between the lines. If your looking for an engaging narrative driven RPG then Dark Souls will disappoint you.

Well with a game like Dark Souls, you can guarantee it to be a bad port to PC if that's the case.

Dark souls like demon souls, was originally designed for console so in that with them being ported to PC it's not worth it because console to PC ports are mostly kak due to the limitations.

well its not always the case
the riddick games were pretty good ports and all new capcom ports are quite impressive imo from lost planet right up to street fighter x tekken.

Lost Planet was KAK port. They didn't even bother taking out the A X Y B on screen.

I was put off console ported games for a while because so many were kak and like Murph said, they don't even removed the A X Y B information while playing.

I got that but read what you wrote.
I have a 4 year old afrikaans nephew that can construct more coherent English sentences.
The port also isn't bad due to "limitations" is kak because the Developer has little/no experience in PC development leading graphical and a whole host of other issues. The Only limitation a PC port would face is control interface which is easily documented by using a controller.
