Once the Mrs gets a permanent job we will consider buying but renting might just work out cheaper then again if a morgage payment are the same amount as renting we may end up buying. Considering we want to start a family I am really keen to have my own place again. The flat we live in now is cool but its a hassle to change anything.

Yeah same shit here. We are tired of jumping through hoops to get shit done. Small place and the rent is awesome...but then again, if I can make a little more money and put that together with what I already pay as rent, I'd rather buy my own place. We need more space. The two of us are fine now, but we are getting the dogs soon and we plan on having little Avengers someday....MOAR SPACE.

Was at Electra mining expo, Geez there is some heavy machinery in this industry. Whoever complains about the recession should check this place out.

I have just bought my first house like 3 months ago its costing me like R2000 more then my rent was but tis so worth it knowing that im paying my own bond off instead of renting and paying someone elses bond off

Yeah, we where looking for those type of machines that could automate some of the tasks. There were even Czech companies there that are selling a lot to Russian mines currently.

Nay bro i trust me i checked the interest long before i bought, excel has a awesoem loan amortization template but i got a good rate from the bank at prime -0.5

I know about that, it's just the way that even though you are paying it doesn't look like its making a difference. I got Prime BTW.

Prime is still not bad but you know you can negotiate it every few months right ? my friends bought a little before me and they got Prime + 2
