well i forced them to upgrade my pc from a sempron with a gig ram to a current gen Pentium Dual-Core with 5 gigs of ram

And yea I am in the same boat, I got my pc upgraded last year to a 1gig ram, but then again I shouldnt complain our one pc until recently had a 128mb Ram and 10gig HDD .. .

just pitch this to them a telkom bill : a 384 account is about R130 a month, every gig you go over is R15 (you guys go over by about 6 so thats R90)

R130+R90 = R220 and an uncapped account is going for less than R200 !

Umm we are with Imaginet - Our bill is sitting at about R500 minimum but the boss hasnt listened to me since Ive told him to swop accounts since last year.

well since i've been working here

first pc was a mecer pentium 4 laptop with 512megs of ram and a 40 gig drive
then when it conked i got a c2d with 4 gigs of ram a geforce 9600 and about 2 terabyte's of space (that didnt last long until the boss's son decided he wanted to use that pc
eventually used the sempron which belonged to the secretary until it got upgraded to its current spec.

imaginet's website looks like a five year old designed it. paying R500 for a 3 gig account is bonkers
 
Hehehe I wish, at this point we just want to get the back office pc's more ram so that Autocad can run better on it.

I agree about Imaginet - besides the fact that they are not the best internet providers ever.

But yar the boss has the last say so I stopped arguing.

Bwahahaha no thankfully not on that one, they did expect to send big prints to it and expected the plotter to print at high speeds and then it took 15mins just to spool some prints :P
