Yeah, a guy that lives in Blairgowrie told me about it. I tried to catch it on my phone. I think if they had more listeners, they might end up with more ads.

Omg, just spent the whole morning at Parow City Council to get Electricity and water connected to a plot where we are building soon.

It took 3 hours just to get a 3 page document that the owners have to fill in for the electricity connection and another hour to get the water/sewage connection sorted. And now we still need to go back to get the electricity done since they changed the forms and now I need the property owners signature again. GAH I hate council!

Ja i wish they could upgrade their signal or so so that you can pick up their signal in the rest of Jhb, but without having to sell the airtime to would be advertisers...

shame that sucks. any time going to a government department is pain in the behind...
 
Jip was not fun, but at least got me out of the office all morning so that is a bonus.

But I have this feeling to go and wash my hands compulsively though . . . It was not the cleanest space I have seen in a while. . .

He has 20k to spend on Ipad and laptop and his requirements is Ipad must be best his money can buy, so latest and best, money left over then goes to a laptop which he is hoping for a Mecer (W270ESQ), apparently not very good but, well his choice in the end. I just need to give him prices and any alternatives that may be better, such as a Acer or Dell counterpart.

Afaik the only difference is the one has 3G, all the other features should be the same. So if you use it on the move then I would go for Wifi+3G, if you only use it at home or work where you always have access to Wifi then I would just go with Wifi.

The Higgs-Boson is the particle that gives everything in the universe mass, the mass of atoms is what causes them to act on one another (attract and repel) which in turn keeps the universe together. So we went from wondering, or theorising, what keeps the universe together to knowing or getting closer to knowing. Thats probably the simplest way I can put it, it basically means that some quantum physics theories are confirmed while some have been/ will be disprove & is helping us better understand the universe. Dont get lulled by the media that call it the god particle, it has nothing to do with god or proving that it does/doesn't exist.
