So apparently my little scare yesterday with my MTN bill is the following...

We have checked your bill. Basically the billing methodology employed on the uncapped lite is to show all data usage with a Rand value and then credit all charges over and above the R299 subscription. This has something to do with how the billing system generates CDRs, but it will always give you the relevant credit. It is also a good way to show users how much value they have obtained from the uncapped service – in your case, a LOT of value!

R20,000 bucks worth of 3G lol, i think im using it nicely :D

So basically they like to show people how stupidly overpriced their 3G data is by suggesting that a single user should be paying as much as an ISP.

Not really, they just showing how much it would cost if i wasnt on uncapped (i do a crap load of browsing, downloads, vpn etc etc) and i need to be mobile.

So yea i think R299 is worth it.
