I spent some time in hospital last week having two cyst-like objects excised from my chin and throat. For the one on my chin, he ended up cutting right down to my lower jawbone, where he found a birth defect: the two bones comprising my mandible had not fused properly when I was a baby, leaving a crevice for aforementioned cyst to root itself in.

I am off to the hospital again tomorrow morning for scans to find out where it goes and how far. From here, I would probably be referred to a Maxillo-Facial Surgeon. Worse case scenario is that he might have to break my jaw to get all of the growth out.

This is when I am very grateful for my medical aid scheme. I may complain about having to pay so much, but it sure has come in useful lately!

At least the biopsy excluded the possibility of a basal carcinoma [usually benign form of skin cancer]

On the bright side of things, my best friend has let me borrow his Macbook Pro while I am without a PC. :)

The vid is extremely professional. Perhaps a little long to keep the viewers attention, but high quality. Hopefully it'll lure the unsuspecting into the TK's den of woe :D
 
James you should make a mygaming TK vid also and get Dan and Tarryn to narrate some of the random going ons in TK :)

Yep me and Murph went out drinking a few times and Grimspoon has slept on my couch. We use to have a once every 6 months meet up at a dross or something before I moved to the UK. Dont know if the tradition has carried on.

Yeah we had a braai with Wyv, Tookzor, MissM, Shadowfox and Frank (who braais an epic steak btw) - when the weather is cool again we'll make a plan.
 
Yep as soon as the weather clears up I will offer the braai area again for everyone's use :P Hopefully Tooks will remember this time that the only cell signal is near the pool :P
