Morning everyone!!

Just woke up now... :o So exhausted. EPIC germany vs aus game in durbs last night, beautiful crowd, amazing vibe.

Went all out with a flag painted on my cheek, a full size flag wrapped around my shoulders, vuvuzela (with minimal blowing... Promise) and German beer in hand :p I'm not a beer drinker but I thought I'd represent!

We walked the beachfront til the early hours, never seen so many cops in all my life, amazing presence. I sat on the railing for exactly one min and a cop ran over to ask if I was ok or needed directions or something... I was so surprised. I felt very safe everywhere I went in and around the stadium. Very smoothly run with security everywhere!

Oh just one thing... Arrive EARLY. We got there 3hours before and beat all the queues and got to walk around and take photos. Half an hour later the queue to get in was 200m long... Get there early. Oh and if you're wanting to drink at the game, indulge in a predrinks with your mates before. Buying at the stadium= R30 a beer!

Ive told people time and time again that Germany are certainly going to be the team to dominate this world cup unless proven otherwise :) and i was told that they wont see the 3rd section of the world cup...

lol Soz to rain on your parade mate, but it wasn't like they were playing against an epic side like Italy or Brazil and for my money the ref was as blind as a bat.

If that 4-0 victory was over a strong team I would agree epic game..but it wasn't...lol

I am a full out German supporter but i wont lie... i had /have my doubts Germany has a habit of chocking in WC's and before the WC heard no ballack was a bis nervous

Dude can you not be negative towards our side here... I mean everyone says yes they are too young and too inexperienced but im sorry those guys played extremely well... the replays say it all :)

Dude honestly you cant expect the whole game to be on one mans shoulders its not fair and in all honesty i think its in a way a good thing that Ballack was off on injury time it gave the newbies some time to show their skills and those guys certainly prevailed :)

Dude not arguing the side they palyed arent the best but the point that everyone is making is the type of football Germany played if they play like that against any team I guarantee they will win

Yeah that handball said it all:p

I'm not being negative I am just voicing my opinion.

Germany's finishing was excellent and it was a good performance. They'll do well this year even without Ballack.

If they can pull off a victory like that against 1 of the top teams I'll say Epic game;)

Hey!! :p How you InSANITY??

omg my nickname all night was Deutchland because I went all out and everyone assumed I was German cause I dressed up in their colours and random tourists kept grinning at me :p... I must admit that the Australians were rather quiet after the game hehe :rolleyes: but extremely friendly. Kept running up to me to ask what I thought of the game and then chatting about anything. Far more friendly than Germans!! Geez aussies are flirtacious! Got pulled into a couple photos with them, such funny characters!

I think I'm hanging a bit... :o

Germany's defence was outstanding... You could literally see the expressions on the players faces we were so close and it was awesome seeing the Australians getting all uptight and intimidated everytime they ran towards goal but couldn't break through Germany's outstanding defence... Amazing players
